Narration of Imperative Sentences
Direct Narration কে Indirect Narration পরিবর্তনের নিয়মাবলীঃ
Let বিহীন Imperative sentence নিয়মাবলীঃ
Reporting verb এর মধো say/said এর পরিবর্তে Reported Speech এর অর্থানুসারে
অনুরোধ বুঝালে request বসে
আদেশ বুঝালে order বসে
উপদেশ বুঝালে advise বসে
কোনোকিছু স্পষ্ট না বুঝালে tell বসে।
Sentence টি মূল verb দ্বারা শুরু হলে Reporting verb এবং Reported Speech কে যুক্ত করতে to বসে।
Note: Indirect Narration এ পরিবর্তনের পর Imperative Sentence টি Assertive Sentence এ পরিনত হয়।
1.Direct:He said to me, "Give me a cup of tea."
Indirect: He requested me to give him a cup of tea.
2.Direct: I said to the boy, "Do it at once."
Indirect: I ordered the boy to do it/that at once.
3.Direct:The teacher said to the boys, "Study regularly to make good in the exam."
Indirect: The teacher advised the boys to study regularly to make good in the exam.
4.He said to me, "Come to me."
Indirect: He told me to go to him.
Let's যুক্ত Imperative Sentence এর Indirect Speech করার নিয়মাবলীঃ
Reporting verb say এর পরিবর্তে propose /suggest বসে যুক্ত করতে conjunction that বসে এবং that এর পরে subject হিসেবে we/they+should/might বসে।
Note: Reporting verb এর subject বা object হিসেবে কোনো First Person থাকলে Reported Speech এ us এর পরিবর্তে We বসবে কোনো First Person না থাকলে they বসবে।
1.Direct:He said to me, "Let us play cricket in the field."
Indirect: He proposed to me that we should play cricket in the field.
2.Direct: Rahim said to his friends, "Let's make a garden in our school campus."
Indirect: Rahim proposed to his friends that they should make a garden in their school campus.
শুধূ Let যুক্ত Imperative Sentence এর Indirect Speech করার নিয়মাবলীঃ
Reporting verb say এর পরিবর্তে say /tell বসে যুক্ত করতে conjunction that বসে এবং that এর পরে subject এর পরে might বসে।
1.Direct: He said to me, "Let me go home."
Indirect: He told me that(যাতে) he might go home.
2.Direct: I said, "Let him do the work."
Indirect: I said that(যাতে) he might do the work
